"I can't speak for the past reviewers and their situations, but I can say that I understand that River Oaks has made some personnel changes since those past reviews. I have handed three homes of mine over to River Oaks for management, and specifically Jennifer Divona, a new agent who handles Property Management there... and I can say that my experience has been nothing short of fantastic on every level. I interviewed about nine property management firms before choosing them. Ironically, some of the best reviewed here were some of the worst in terms of fees and service when I actually sat down and interviewed them... made me wonder about the legitimacy of many of these reviews. When I first met with Jennifer I could immediately tell that her caring and knowledge were head and shoulders above the rest, and the fee structure was extremely fair as well. Since allowing Jennifer to manage my properties I have been happy on every level... professionalism, communication, tenant selection, concern for my property, responsiveness, ect. Again, I can't speak to the past, but as long as Jennifer is there (and when I flat out asked her, she said she planned on staying a long time) I feel like my properties could not be in better hands. This includes the purchase of the properties, including incidentals such as finding insurance, and the sale of three of the properties, and complete management of the tenant cycle, from finding/screening tenants, collecting the rents, and managing maintenance of the homes. Due to their expertise and help, when we moved to Jacksonville this spring, I went to River Oak Realty to help me find and purchase our new home. Again, their service and expertise was very valuable in completing this transaction, and helping deal with our first emergency in our new home - the air conditioning died the day after closing, while the carpet cleaners were wetting everything down.
