Al Parham

Chairman

Since founding the company in 1986, Al Parham has directed the growth of River Oak Realty, Inc. from a small residential sales company to an established real estate brokerage firm in the Jacksonville area boasting a property management inventory of over 450 properties. Al served as President of River Oak Realty bringing it through its 20 year milestone, and now serves as Chairman of the Board. Al has been in the real estate business for 25 years and was the President of the Clay County Association of REALTORS® in 1992. He and his wife are members of Westside Baptist Church.

 

Ben Parham, Broker, e-PRO

President

Ben Parham serves as the President and Managing Broker of River Oak Realty, Inc. In this capacity, he oversees all brokerage activities, conducts business development, and sets the strategic direction of the corporation. Prior to joining River Oak Realty, Ben worked as a Senior Systems Engineer for KDM Systems, Inc. in Denver, Colorado. While at KDM, Ben provided national security consulting services to the U.S. Government and its foreign government partners. He was also the President and Managing Broker of Metro Denver Realty, Inc., a company which he founded specializing in residential sales and property management. Ben served in the U.S. Navy as a Cryptologic Technician (Technical) where he was awarded the Joint Service Achievement Medal, two Navy Achievement Medals, and a Good Conduct Medal. He graduated magna cum laude from Northern Virginia Community College with an Associate in Science degree, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colombia College. He has been a practicing real estate broker since 2000 and holds current broker licenses in both Florida and Colorado. Ben is an active member of the Northeast Florida Association of REALTORS® where he serves as the 2011 Secretary, is a member of the Budget & Finance Committee and Forms Task Force, and was the Chairman of the 2010 Grievance Committee. Ben is a Florida native born in Tampa and has spent most of his life in the Jacksonville area. He is a member of Journey Church of Orange Park and plays guitar in their worship band.
